Early emergency c-section at 35 weeks

Has anyone suffered pre-eclampsia or any other reason for an emergency c-section? Im currently 35weeks and officially diagnosed yesterday

I just want to know if everything is okay with baby as i was told maybe he can stay with me but maybe he will be in the ICU 😩

Not me personally but my friend had her baby at 35 weeks two weeks ago. He has to go to the nicu for a couple of hours but they soon were all reunited. He weighed 5lb 5oz and they went home in 3 days of the c section. I wish you all the best xxx

Thankyou, im hoping its around the same time for me but since they have told me that we may be seperated im full of worry 😩 do you know if she got to spend any time with baba before he went to the nicu?xx

I know she got to have a kiss of his head before he went over. He was all around quite healthy though. I fully understand that, I’ve been told with my twins that they could come early and it’s always a massive worry of mine but a 35 week baby is basically fully developed they usually just need a little help with breathing so hopefully everything goes okay. Whatever happens you will be reunited with your baby as soon as possible as they know it’s best for both you and baby xx

Is it cheating

My husband just told me that at work he and his male friends/coworkers pinch each others nipples as like a joke, I think it’s inappropriate and it’s cheating in a way and he does not agree he thinks it’s just funny and nothings wrong with it

A full 8 hours

My 1 month and five week old newborn just slept 8 hours. I genuinely don’t know who blessed me, but good lord am I thankful. We really only woke up a few times to put her binky back in her mouth. She did just got home from the NICU and adjustment was pretty hard for the past few nights, so she certainly deserves a lot of sleep. Just happy to see her feeling more comfortable.

Baby hates me?

Why does my baby hate me. All she wants from me is to be fed and then screams and screams at me, she settles with everyone else and i don't understand what im doing wrong. I feel like the worst mum ever and am really struggling.

Witching hour??

Pretty sure my 7 week old has a strict “lose all chill at 6pm” policy 😅

Evenings = crying, pacing, questioning my life choices 😂

Fed, burped, cuddled… still a bit of a mystery. Any tips from mums who survived this stage? How did you get through the evening chaos?!

Is nursery a bit out of line?

Today I learned that my son was “seen by someone” when picking him up. Apparently speech therapist saw him in the nursery to evaluate him and I only learned about it on pick up.

No warning, no even proper explanation of what triggered it. With one staff member saying “he is not speaking at all”, and another dismissing it and saying it’s completely normal.

And everyone seem to dismiss my shock as he is the most chatty happiest child at home.

So it triggers me that instead of finding a way to get him “open up” and make him feel secure so he starts speaking naturally. They now decided he needs to be “fixed” and probably push him into more anxiety with it. Without even consulting us.

Too much pram time?

LO is 15 months old. He's not walking yet. We've always gone for 2 walks a day, for about 30-45 mins each. I've found this helps LO's mood and also my own mental health. It's occurring to me that perhaps this is too much "container" time. When we're home, I encourage loads of floor time and he enjoys pulling to stand and cruising on furniture. His only other "container" time is in his high chair 4 times a day for meals, and for about 10 mins at a time when I'm getting his food ready, unless someone else is there to watch him (our flat is small and not open plan).
