Pretty sure my 7 week old has a strict “lose all chill at 6pm” policy 😅
Evenings = crying, pacing, questioning my life choices 😂
Fed, burped, cuddled… still a bit of a mystery. Any tips from mums who survived this stage? How did you get through the evening chaos?!

It’s hard, but I promise it passes!

Mines the same he’s 6 weeks old on Friday and the pass 3 weeks every night has been hell from 5-9. My eldest was the same even I struggle to think it passes when I do know it defo does. Hang on in there chick, I’m going through it with you. If you ever need a message or a rant I’m here. It’s so flipping hard x

I would say don’t go out at night , and take turns , oh and restrict visits. People always want to visit babies when it’s convenient for them. Like no auntie , 9 pm is like midnight for my baby.

How old long does this last? Three week old and feels so unsettled in the evening too

Don’t forget the possibility of colic. Only reason I mention it as we had no idea what it was with our first and my god I wanted to throw myself and him out of the window on an evening. Pretty much as soon as the clock struck 6 it was screaming crying, would only settle if we were stood up bouncing him. It was horrible.
So if it’s ongoing for 3 hours or more; won’t be settled unless stood up and bouncing, more of a screaming cry than just general fussiness have a think if it could be colic and what then would work best for you. For us, it was comfort milk (a thicker milk) gripe water and making sure he was burped regularly during feeds. Having a sling and baby wearing helped too. Hopefully it is just the fussy phase which is V hard. Get a fabric sling carrier for baby wearing and just treat it as the time you’re not going to sit down and swap it for another time you would. My partner works shifts so I understand how hard it is to cope alone. X

You just have to wait it out, its horrible x
