I'm so nervous and scared about this whole process. It was so bad during labor with my first child. I feel so powerless and fearstruck.

Hi Marcie, thank you for feeling like you could share. Do you have a birthing partner who can be with you? Or a doula? I ask because having someone who knows our wishes and can help advocate on our behalf can be helpful during labor. I’m truly sorry to hear that your first birth wasn’t a positive experience. If pain management is a concern, make sure you speak with the medical staff about your options so you feel informed and can make the best choice for yourself. Receiving support isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a display of strength.
Whatever path you choose, you are filled with strength. We can be nervous and scared and still be brave as we face a challenge. I’ll be thinking of you today. I hope for a smooth delivery and recovery for you. Sending you my best ❤️

Thank you so much. You have no idea how much I needed your reply. ☹️🥰

I'm new here but wanted to say I had the exact same feelings with my second child. I hope everything went smoothly for you and baby!
