I'm off of literally everything. Don't smoke, no medicine, don't drink except VERY rare occasion, nothing. I drink a large coffee everyday (usually mcdonalds or 7 brew)... or a couple cups of coffee at home if I don't get out. Today I had neither and I was OUT FOR THE COUNT. Awful headache, no motivation, throwing up. Then I drink coffee and it's instantly better. 🙃 coffee is one hell of a drug I tell ya.

Have you tried drinking other things that have caffeine? Tea, even some herbal teas have caffeine naturally (I’m pretty sure anyway), a fizzy drink?

Yes if you usually drink coffee and then don’t for a day it’s normal to get a headache because your body is used to the caffeine

Slow weaning, friend. As a former barista who got pregnant it hit hard. Did decaf until I didn't drink it anymore. Withdrawals are the worst. Don't cold turkey it, just like any other withdrawal. Mushroom coffee honestly helped my family through the caffeine addiction. My sister swears by Everyday Dose, she got my mom on it too 😂 no jitters or crash. Good luck!

I'm the same 😫 I gave up when I was pregnant & had 7 days of caffeine withdrawal! Horrible headaches! (But was fine after about a week though)Tried to give it up again & the withdrawal was worse than before(maybe my age?) I'm going to try again and swap to decaf coffee..decaf still has some caffeine so maybe that'll help? Might report back! 😄
I’m concerned as I’ve been on antibiotics for an infected c-section site. But have gotten a cold/flu like symptoms now (cough, sore throat, runny nose and headache). Having googled (worst thing I know) it says it could be possible sepsis, I have an appointment Tuesday for a review of previous antibiotics given. Would it be recommend to call maternity unit due to gp being closed over the weekend or do I wait till Monday to see if I can get an appointment then instead of Tuesday.
Any advice would be appreciated

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant just over 4 weeks I go away at the beginning of November I’ll be roughly 10-11 weeks I won’t have had a scan yet (unlikely) I’m not even sure if I will have had my first midwife appointment by then🤔 am I still okay to fly? It’s a 4 hour flight.
Should I get a private scan to confirm everything is okay before hand?

Is there anything that actually works to try and go into labour?
I'm willing to give things a go as I'm so fed up now 😂 aiming for a vbac so trying to avoid c section if I can 🤞🏻 but have agreed to section if I get to due date and nothing has happened 🙈

I’m pregnant with my 2nd baby. I just received first ultrasound results. And they put in the results that I have a small fibroid , small cystic lesion and a small subchorionic hematoma. Was wondering if anyone experienced any of those things? I’ve been having a lot of cramping too - wondering if one of these things are causing it 😭

Has anybody else not taken their husband /wife /partner with them when they went into labour? My husband came with me the first time but I’m genuinely thinking of taking my mum this second time around she hasn’t asked me to or knows that I want her to maybe come. I just feel like my partner isn’t reliable enough for me to get in touch with him all. Maybe it’s done it once don’t need to do it again situation I don’t know but I thought it was normal to take your partner but maybe not for everybody?

Ive been told i’ll be contacted within 12 hours to go to hospital for them to check things over as ive got no contractions or anything. My chosen hospital is also full which means i’d have to go further away if i do start contractions now. How long after your waters breaking did your contractions start? This is my second baby but waters never broke with my first
