Is there anything that actually works to try and go into labour?
I'm willing to give things a go as I'm so fed up now π aiming for a vbac so trying to avoid c section if I can π€π» but have agreed to section if I get to due date and nothing has happened π

Personally Iβd say noβ¦however sex is meant to help as sperm can soften the cervix. I did some deep pelvic exercises leading up to labour which I think may of helped, but babies just like to come when theyβre ready. I did try clary sage near the end in my last pregnancy but I went past 41 weeks x

I agree with Beth. It's one of those things where everyone will tell you what worked for them, but there isn't really any medical evidence to anything. The baby releases a hormone, which tells the body it's ready to be born.
Best thing to do is keep your spirits up and do things you genuinely enjoy in the last few weeks π and rest up as much as possible!

Although it might be a normal symptom for pregnancy, I havenβt slept properly in what feels like months now. I eat a banana a day, drink as much water I can, and use magnesium body butter at night. Can anyone recommend something that worked for them? I have been looking at Oshun magnesium and/or electrolytes that I can add to water but remember my midwife telling me not to take electrolytes/extra. Any advice welcome, I just wanted to sleep without the constant βleft, right, left, rightβ¦β Sometimes up at 3/4am and still working full-time teaching maths so really struggling. ππΌ

Iβm 5.5 weeks pregnant. I had a C section with my last baby almost 4 years ago. Did anyone else experience more cramps with activity in their pregnancies after having had a C-section? Iβm thinking it might be due to scar tissue? Iβm really worried bc the pain is pretty intense. Any and all feedback is welcome! The doctor is no help

Hi everyone !
I had my appointment yesterday 38+5 weeks which went abit sideways to say the least π
I was meant to be getting induced next week but little man has apparently jumped from 8lbs 6 to nearly 11pounds in 2 weeks (no gestational diabetes)
I got told I had to have a C-section instead now and have never had one so am flapping like a headless chicken π what essentials did you all need / wish you had after a C-section please π any tips welcome as Iβm currently just a blubbering mess as it wasnβt how was planned ππ
