Hey mommies play group recommendation in Slough?

Went to my first play group but didn’t find it appropriate as I couldn’t find mums of my age. My kid is 1 and the rest of the kids were older and were jumping over babies like him and hurting them. Please lemme know of a good one

I find it interesting how many people post incognito on here including myself due to what seems like fear of judgment.

i went to an event today with loads of women, idea being to just mingle and make friends i left feeling worse and wishing i never went, im so painfully shy and my whole life i’ve had social anxiety i barely spoke to anyone, just this one girl who seemed nice who probably thought i was weird idk i just don’t have anything to say nothing to respond with and it just made me overthink
i have no friends i never have, from school to college i’ve never even worked i became a mom at 22 i’ve never done anything other than just be at home and get pregnant move out no friends never travelled never done anything and im 26 soon like what the point of my life what’s it gonna look like in 5-10 years when my kids are grown up im gonna be left with nothing i dont see a way out of anything...

Affair

My partner of 9 years and father to my two young children (1 and 3 years) told me yesterday that he had been having an affair with a younger woman from work. He told me he had been going to her flat after work, before work or when he’s been saying he’s at the gym. He told me it had been going on a few months and they had sex a few times. I spoke to the female and she said it had been going on since November, they had developed feelings - apparently he said he never felt a love like it and had told her we weren’t together and living together but civil for our children. This isn’t true. We were very much a couple - we maybe had drifted slightly since welcoming our second child but we were still intimate, shared a bed etc etc. And i obviously felt very much in a relationship with him. he has said he ended it but she kept threatening to get him in trouble at work and he was stuck. He told me he hadn’t seen her this week but she said he was at hers two days ago and they had sex. What the hell should I do. We’ve build a life together and own our own house. I’ve left the house and gone to stay with my mum for a few days.

If you work part-time, or if you did, and your partner earns more per month, how would you arrange finances?

I want to do the first option with my partner so that it's as fair and equal as possible but we're currently doing the second option where he covers the main bills and big food shops, and I just live off my own part-time earnings.

Is it just me?

Is it just me or has anyone else found that friends you used to be so close with have just disappeared since you have become a mum?
Currently grieving an 18 year friendship, hadn't seen her since I was 17weeks pregnant and then she just disappeared out of nowhere, I tried messaging her asking why she has ghosted me the other day and she finally replied (my son is 5 months old now for reference) basically saying she just doesn't think our friendship aligns anymore and that it was going to be her final message to me. Shes blocked me too. She didn't even ask about my son, nothing.. I've never done anything wrong for her to do this.
