Posting incognito

I find it interesting how many people post incognito on here including myself due to what seems like fear of judgment.

I see that too. If someone judges me for a post or comment i learn from it and I better myself. I don't judge unless I see something that concerns me. Like safety. That's the only thing I judge about anyone. Anything else never judge about.

Definitely! But I think there's several subjects that increase the likelihood: sleep training v. co-sleeping, screen time, stopping breastfeeding before your grown child tells you they're over the boob, etc, etc etc. It's super scary when you're trying to make a hard decision for your child and want to know from people who have experience but you know you're also going to get judgement comments 🤷‍♀️

I can appreciate some of the incognito posts but some feel unnecessary. Posting incognito but wanting friends isn’t going to be helpful. Looking for something local but not identifying where you are makes no sense to me.

I’ve never posted Incog myself but I see the need for it but sometimes she’s so used to posting Incog that it doesn’t help her case for some subjects. Like one asking for fashion advice. How can I give her personal advice when I can’t even see what she looks like/normally wears/body type. Or asking for friends. Or something that we need to know location of. This app is worldwide. If you need specific answers and not general advice Incog is not gonna help
