What’s your 11 month old sleep/ nap times?

My LO is wide awake every night (no crying) from 2-5am and want to see if it’s her routine? So far she does …

7am wake
10am nap (1hr)
2/3pm nap (1hr)
7/8pm bedtime

What should I change? I already cut her naps from 3 hours total to 2. Her wake windows are usually 3.5-4 hours.

Hi, no advice I'm afraid but we have a similar routine and our 11 month old thinks it's party time between 3 and 5 xx

Depends on the day, sometimes he has 1 nap, others 2. He usually wakes around 7-8, first nap starts 12/12:30.

Then it’s either only until 1:30/2 in which case he’ll have another 30min nap at 4:30/5 then bedtime at 8:30/9ish.

Or his first nap lasts until about 2:30/3 then bedtime of 7ish. Hope that all makes sense 😅

So maybe try making his first nap longer than the second?

Ours is
7.30 wake
10.45 nap wake her up at 12
3.15-4 nap
Bed around 7.30

But I don’t always wake her at 7.30, kinda stick to wake windows; I had to start waking her during her first nap as otherwise we couldn’t squeeze the second one in x

That's what our HV suggested but it's hard to wake them when they look so peaceful on an afternoon. Although, she also suggested that she does have a longer and later afternoon nap to just push bedtime back which is what you're doing. It's so hard isn't it, we feel like we'll never sleep again 🤦 x

My daughter sleeps 7:30pm - 7:30am (she does wake at night but settles back quickly with help) but I have to fight her to nap in the day. She’s recently decided that she only wants one nap a day for 35 minutes.

Where am I going wrong with these 7/7:30am wake ups. I feel exhausted with the 6am wake ups. Now it’s 5am 🤣

My son thinks half five is time to get up 😂 we've tried pushing bed time and he's stil up at half five

I don't even know anymore, were winging it more than ever 🤣

Reducing formula feeds

I've just been told by my nursery that they wont give bottles of/and formula from 1 year one, my little boys 1 in 3 weeks.
Looking for advice on how to reduce his formula intake?
Hes loves both food and milk 🫣 I think he will drink cows milk so that's not the issue im more concerned about the fact that hes in a routine with his bottles.

1 week postpartum

Hi, I’m 1 week postpartum and exclusively breastfeeding. My baby last had a poo on 20th March (when she was 3 days old) and hasn’t had one since… just wet nappies. She seems very okay too. Is this normal? I’m seeing the health visitor on Monday but just wanted some reassurance thanks x

Late talkers

Hi everyone - My daughter is 27months old and still doesn’t say more than a handful of words regularly. She mostly just says one syllable or sound of a word. We’ve been doing speech therapy for a little more than 6 months. She is starting to vocalize and at least try more, but still has not really started producing actual words yet. It is getting harder and harder not to stress out about this and worry that something more might be wrong, like I recently started looking into childhood apraxia of speech.

I’m looking for some community of people who have gone through or are going through similar things just to be able to talk to someone about it. Did anyone have a child with a similar profile at this age - how did it go from there for you? Is anyone going through something similar right now and want to chat?

Thanks.

Last nap of the day

When does everyones babies last nap of the day roughly end and then when is bedtime ?

My son naps 3/4 times a day but only 30/40 mins at a time and that's contact napping or in cot . In his awake windows you can tell he's tired but I cannot get him to extend the naps at all . Going off chat gpt because of this they recommend bedtime as early as 5.45 up until 6.30 most evenings . Which is fine for him he will go to sleep but it's not for me as he co sleeps so I'm then stuck up stairs all evening , don't have time to shower , eat , clean anything and it's just taking over as I do not get a minute. Any advice welcome

Side & stomach sleepers. HELP

Baby girl is officially a side & occasionally stomach sleeper. She can crawl & roll just fine but in her cot she struggle to get comfortable in her sleep because her sleeping bag restricts her movement. Like if she is trying to get on her side or stomach it wakes her up.

We're using the Snuz sleeping bags.

Any tips? Do your side/stomach sleepers have this issue?
