Last nap of the day

When does everyones babies last nap of the day roughly end and then when is bedtime ?

My son naps 3/4 times a day but only 30/40 mins at a time and that's contact napping or in cot . In his awake windows you can tell he's tired but I cannot get him to extend the naps at all . Going off chat gpt because of this they recommend bedtime as early as 5.45 up until 6.30 most evenings . Which is fine for him he will go to sleep but it's not for me as he co sleeps so I'm then stuck up stairs all evening , don't have time to shower , eat , clean anything and it's just taking over as I do not get a minute. Any advice welcome

My 4 month old has her last nap at about 3/4pm and her bedtime is between 5:30-6:30. I just follow her natural routine for this as this is when she gets sleepy and goes down for the night. I work around her schedule, I do all my activities including dinner before 5pm. I prepare a wrap/pastry/ easy to eat, not messy food along with a drink in my travel mug to have in bed while she’s sleeping.

Mine has last nap at like 6 🤦‍♀️ then bed at 8. I dunno if that’s too late but I fear I’d be up at 4-5am otherwise. Although he’s not sleeping anyway so not sure it’d make a difference 😂

I changed bedtime 2 days ago to 7:30pm so his last nap is now after 5pm. Last wake window no longer than 2 hours, more like 1.5 hours - he takes half an hour naps and 1 longer one which I’m extending to around an hour or hour and half.
I can see he is tired at the end of the day so last wake window cannot be too long as he becikowe very fussy

Usually aim to have last nap finishing by 17:15. But depending on how the day has gone he might need a nap at 17:30 for 15 mins to bridge the gap until bedtime. We do a 7-7 day so we’d still put him down for 7. His wake windows are 1hr45. If a nap is shorter than 45 mins then I’ll try rescue the nap but doesn’t always work. Daytime sleep were aiming for about 3.5 hours on a good day! His nights aren’t too bad just some resettling.

My 11 month old ate her poo I’m think

I think my 11 month old girl ate her poo I went upstairs to make his brother ready for she did poo I notice she have yellow stuff on her face … I’m scared what will happen to her do I need to go hospital or should I call gp in morning?!

Switching to formula

I will have exclusively fed my 3 month old breastmilk in 2 weeks time and I think for my mental health I want to combo feed. Does anyone have any tips on this? I currently pump 7 times within 24 hours and would like to reduce that so I can live without having to pump every 3 hours. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Xxx

Locking toddlers bedroom door

Do you think it’s ok to lock 3.5 year olds bedroom door? She keeps coming out and waking up the whole family so struggling to function. Or is it cruel to do that?

Co sleeping position

Is it okay to co sleep in this position with my 5 and a half month old? She mostly sleeps in her cot but sometimes she just wants me. Her face is completely uncovered and chin isn’t on chest etc. I know it’s not ideal but she seems to sleep so much better like this than on her back. My arm is cradling her. I don’t breastfeed and she doesn’t feed during the night. Need reassurance that it’s okay or an explanation why it isn’t😥

Baby chokes on my milk at almost every feed

I exclusively breastfeed and my little one is 7 weeks old, never had any issues before now but this past week he's choked on my milk at almost every feed and is gulping it like he's never been fed.

He generally feeds well, I alternate breasts each feed so like he'll feed on the left then next feed on the right side, but they seem too full for him and he coughs and chokes like he can't handle my milk flow. If i hand express beforehand so it isn't as full for him he is dissatisfied with the feed and wants the other side which is then too much for him and he's sick🫠🫠

Has anyone had anything like this? What did you do about it?, I feel awful watching him cough and he's spilling milk all down me which is not ideal when out of the house.

Husband tired

My husband keeps telling me how tired he is. He will tell me he’s exhausted that he feels broken, that he’s so tired, he’s so tired he doesn’t want to take her for a pram walk in the evening (he usually does though!) etc etc. I find it very frustrating. I obviously appreciate that we can both be tired and for different reasons he obviously goes to work while I’m at home with the baby. However at the moment she’s going through the four month sleep regression, her sleep is absolutely terrible, I’m up constantly throughout the night. I’m barely sleeping most nights. He is currently sleeping in a separate room so he basically has a full night sleep with no interruptions at all and this is every night of the week. It frustrates me to hear him talk about how tired he is when I know he’s getting a full night sleep every night whilst I’m getting up every 45 minutes with our baby and then having to do a full day of care the next day….
I don’t want to mention it to him or moan because I don’t want him to feel like he can’t feel tired or express his tiredness but I feel like it’s really lacking awareness and it’s really irritating me !
