Breastfeeding - nipple twiddling!

I loooove breastfeeding but my 7mo has recently decided to flick, pinch, twiddle my nipple and I find it so irritating.

It honestly fills me with rage!

He feeds, comes off and then just lies there playing with my nipple. I put it away, then he cries!

This alone is making me want to stop breastfeeding.

Is there anything else I can do to stop the fiddling?

Mine does the exact same. I wear a necklace so she fidgets with that instead, doesnt always work. Sometimes i let her (when her nails are freshly cut i dont mind but when she has her claws out… yikes😂) and other times i just persevere even if shes crying when i pull my shirt over it. Tbh the last week ive been expressingn and bottle feeding during the day as she’s way too distracted to feed normally and think i might keep this up for the days

My LO does the same!! I try distract her with my necklace or my top, I think they just like to have something to play with!!

Yep he starts slapping and scratching my boobs, pulling off and looking away, wiggling his arms and legs, and also tries to talk/blow raspberries whilst feeding😂
Not sure what to do either as don't want to stop BF but it's getting challenging Hahaa!

6week old pretty much slept through the night?!

6 week old baby slept through her usual night feed. Usually wakes at 3am and 6am. Plenty wet and dirty nappies. Was last weighed a few weeks ago and had gone past her birth weight. Due to be seen and weighed again in 2 days. Is more awake during the days now. Having both breastmilk and formula. Is this OK? She had ger last feed at 10pm Went to bed at 11pm and woke up on her own at 5.20am. The clocks had obviously gone forward and u almost feel refreshed after a longer sleep!!

It is 3am . Your toddler wakes in the night having wet the bed.

You can't find a waterproof sheet but you can find a normal sheet for his bed.

You are pretty sure there is a waterprpof sheet in your 11 month old's room.

But your 11 month old only just got to sleep after a half hour of being awake

Do you...

Fussy baby

My 12 day old has been fussing since 3am (4 hours). She had a 50 minute feed at that time and has been on and off the breast since but falls asleep very quickly when on, I have burped her, given a formula top up, walked around tried to soothe but nothing is working. Anyone else had this, is it just normal newborn behaviour or any other ideas of things to try?

Clocks changing + late wake up

My LO woke up around 8.30am (would have been 7.30am obv) which feels illegal 😂 although there are definitely worse problems to have and wondering how to work naps now?
He normally naps twice a day and has 1.5 hours for each, although sometimes will have a longer nap in the morning and then a shorter one in the afternoon. His wake windows are around 3/3.25/3.5 so it’s going to be a late bedtime as it stands.
Thoughts? Should I cap his naps so I can put him to bed earlier and get things back on track or just let things take their course? He’s likely to eventually get back to an earlier wake up anyway.

Sleep… is this normal?

Is it normal for my 7 week old baby to wake low this during the night…

8pm bedtime - milk and story
8:30/9pm - sleep
12:00am - milk
3am - milk

He goes four hours between feeds for his first milk and then three hours between feeds for his second milk. Why are his sleep stretches different throughout the night? Is this normal?

Baby room

We ve just bought a new 3 bed and we are fighting about this before we ve even moved in. My husband wants to make the 3rd room into "his study' and a TV room. He wants to put in a sofa bed. (He does not work from home and has no real purpose for a study other than studying or doing the occasional admin. There is a living room where we will have a TV).

I want to make it a room for our 10 month old. His argument is that we co sleeping anyway and therefore she doesn't need a room. But she is the most important person in our lives. Its the house that she ll have her childhood in, ofcourse she ll need room. We need to do everything we couldn't do when we were pregnant, because we were renting. We need to do a cute nursery for her to grow up in. She can have her naps in her room. She can play in her room. Her books and her changing station can go there.
He is saying, that if I really wanted one I can just use the 2nd room. But this meant to be the guest room. And we can't exactly put a child's floor bed onto this room and expect guests to sleep in it. So he said they can just use the sofa bed in the other room then. But the guest who stay over for us are our elderly parents. Particularly his (who are abroad) who have all sorts of pain. I really dont think they ll be comfortable on a sofa bed for like a month.

I personally think 'his study' (still dont understand why he needs one and why i dont need one, or a dressing room or whatever) can be part of the guest room. And the baby should be given the smallest room.

Thoughts? Solutions?
