Just put something under the sheet or use nappies or something for that night

So was there one on there already that you are removing and you can’t find the spare? I would just put normal on and hope it’s not guna happen again as bladder has been emptied. Regardless I’m never going anywhere near the baby’s room.

My son used to wet the bed regularly. He would just come into ours.

Both of my kids sleep pretty soundly so I would be going in baby room. If this is not the case (which is what it sounds like) for you, I would do what Lauren says and put towels under normal sheet.

I've put a large towel between the sheet and bed when I've run out of waterproof sheets

I always have a pack of puppy pads at home for emergencies of all types.

I put a large towel under after we didn't find a sheet, I didn't think there was much chance of him wetting the bed twice.

It was my husband who chose to woke the baby up knowing he'd just got to sleep.

Turned out there was no sheets in there anyway as he'd left them in the dryer when he'd done the washing Friday (my husband is great but one of many jobs he 'does' but I have to remind him to finish or I finish myself next time I wash 🙈) so baby and toddler ended up awake and still no sheet

I waa just mad tbh cos I was like who wakes a baby who's just gone to sleep the night the clocks go forward!!!!
