Yes - I’ve an unborn baby booked on an easyJet flight! Depends on airline but shouldn’t be an issue

You can book your own flights and then just call to add your baby once born. We were unable to book the baby ticket without the date of birth. Your baby could be on your lap at 6 months but if you want them to have their own seat then you would need to book a seat once they are born for them. We flew Virgin to California and baby cost us 10% of our ticket price to add her on.

hi sorry to jump on the post but how did you do this? Did you call them rather than book online? X

Flights are free for babies until they turn 2.

Yes we have, we booked online with Jet2. We just have to update baby’s details once he’s born. There was guidance on their website on what to enter for DOB etc for now. It’s worth checking the airlines FAQS

As long as the name matches the passport!

depends on the airline as some charge for the infant to sit on the lap.

Yes I have a flight booked with TUI to Jamaica and my unborn child is on the booking x

You will need to have a passport for travel over seas. I am not sure on the age for a passport. I think 2 months old or 2 weeks.

I have a flight booked with Jet star in Aus and they have let me reserve the bassinet and add an infant but I need to call and give them the babies details (DOB, name etc) once born.
Super helpful thank you everyone!

Yes. I’ve done it and flew emirates. Just update their passport number when you have one.
