CB Digital Positive but FRER getting lighter - confused!

It’s a tough one but clear blue tends to need lots more HCG than other tests. I didn’t get my clear blue positives until the day of my missed period. I would wait a week and test again with clear blue and see if it has gone up. Alternatively you can speak to your doctor about getting an HCG blood taken but I know different countries and even different areas in different countries have such a varying policy on taking bloods etc! Definitely looks positive congratulations x

I think it might be a waiting game yes unfortunately, 17 dpo should be enough to test positive but if you had a chemical only last month it's possible you're still testing faintly positive from that despite having had a period? Did you definitely test negative between then and now? I still tested positive after a chemical after my period/MC had been and gone for a couple of weeks. If so then just wait a few more days if you can. Good luck! X

Thanks! I'm 2 days late for my period and I've never had a positive CB digital even with chemical last month. The FRER ones just faded and then period started, so I'm scared the discharge may turn into my period. Also very minimal symptoms compared to chemical so far.
I'm abroad at the moment so difficult to contact GP but home in 1 week. I've also run out of tests 😆 sods law! X

thank you, yes definitely negative last month, had a blood test to confirm non-pregnant HCG level a week after, not sure my GP even believed me tbh but glad I pushed for the blood test. Then I've tracked my ovulation every day since. All the pregnancy tests were also negative including CB digital which has never been positive last time. Really hope this one sticks! X

Ah okay then yes it definitely seems like you're pregnant again so congratulations!! Fingers and toes crossed for you. If you can wait a couple more days to test again and in the meantime get in touch with a local early pregnancy unit again to see if they can give you any better information?

Idk I feel like your pregnant. I had several chemical pregnancies and never got a positive digital test until the pregnancy was actually successful! Def call your dr to get your HCG results 😃

thanks, that's reassuring! Oh my the struggle is real, I'm not back in the UK until Saturday and all I can think about is the fact I've run out of tests and I've still got brown spotting type stuff going on 😆 still no sign of proper AF though so 🤷🏼‍♀️ x

Do you take biotin supplements? That’s been known to cause false negatives with frer tests. I would get a blood test at 14dpo

thanks I don't know if biotin specifically, but I take the pregnacare conception vitamin daily in addition to extra folic acid from my GP due to a medication I'm on.
I'm now 20 DPO but I've had bleeding for the last 2 days so I think it's a chemical now. Heading home tomorrow and I'll chat with my GP x
