Is there a weight limit on baby wrap wearing?

I'm pretty sure they all have different weight restrictions.. I'd look up the one you have and see what it says.

I just did a Google search and it says slings are generally intended for babies 8lbs through 35lbs like the Moby wrap is good for 8lbs through 33 and the Aura is good 8lbs through 25lbs

If you feel comfortable and safe with YOUR baby in YOUR wrap on YOUR chest , that’s not your mothers problem 🌚

Yes you’d have to figure it out on the website. Of that specific wrap. 5 lbs might be too small I know for a lot of wraps the max weight is like 20-25 lbs. So I would definitely look it up. Wraps I think are lighter than carriers so 5 lbs might be fine. But since your baby is so small wraps might not be good for them sooo I would definitely look up what specific wrap you have and see what it says. Which one do you have?

If baby is comfortable and happy in it just continue what your doing !!!! Having a newborn is hard baby wearing is something that helps take some stress off

As long as her airways aren’t blocked in any way and she is secure I feel like it shouldn’t be an issue? I’m no expert. But don’t they recommend baby wearing for little premies? I feel like they need it even more when they’re so young and tiny 🥺 I think you’re fine imho
