Tommee tippee anti colic bottle - spitting up

Hi My 3 week old has been on the tommee tippee anti colic bottles since few days after birth and we’ve now noticed he’s spitting up a lot of the milk out the sides of his mouth when drinking. Has anyone had similar issues with the bottle? He’s on the slowest teat and has no issues feeding otherwise

Hi! Our baby had similar issues with the anti colic and closer to nature TT bottles! She was fine initially but then suddenly seemed to be soaked after every feed. We switched her to MAM bottles and while she still drools a bit she's much better!

@Kirstie ah glad it resolved for you I’m thinking we will have to change bottles too now :( Did you keep the steriliser and just change the bottles?

We've had this same issue! We've switched to NUK and no leakage. We also found the tommee tippee ones collapsed and were far too soft for my son x

@Kirstie ah glad it resolved for you I’m thinking we will have to change bottles too now :( Did you keep the steriliser and just change the bottles? We still have the steriliser, but for MAM bottles we don't need it because they self steralise in the microwave. You could use it for any other bottles though rather than buying a new one if needed, might have to be a bit creative with how they fit in but no reason for it to go to waste just because you switch to a different bottle brand 😊

Tommee tippee bottles aren’t great at all, all of the midwife’s we’ve had agree. We used them with our first but changed pretty quickly. We went with mam and had no issues and have used them from day dot for our second

Would recommended Dr browns bottles, have really helped our baby girl. We were using tommee Tipper before
