What are some great baby shower games. My baby shower is this Saturday. And I haven't thought of 1 game yet lol

A cheap and fun game is having ppl guess how big around your belly is. Pass around a ball of yarn and have each person cut off a length that they think will wrap perfectly around your belly. The person who's closest( without going over) wins.

Not a game but we had a book that people signed and put their favorite family traditions in.

I did the yarn closest in length and a little trivia sheet that guests had to guess if I was mom/dad & the one with least wrong won something

My sister did a fun one at my shower where two people race to match baby socks from a hamper with mixed in baby clothes/adult socks

My shower is this weekend too and I am doing the don’t say baby game in which everyone puts a small clothes pin on them and whoever says baby gets the clothes pin taken away whoever has the most clothes pins at the end wins a prize.

bottle chugging contest.

Guess how big belly is using yarn.

Baby sock hunt (hiding 20 socks around the room. Whoever has the most socks at the end wins)

And also having a bib making station.

Enjoy your shower ☺️

Guess the arrival date! Create a calendar for the month and put the due date and have people guess which date lil one will actually arrive. It’s fun to see after they arrive who was correct or closest.

We did a hot potato game lol aka pass the baby game whoever has baby at end is out(use a doll or stuffed animal)

I just had my baby shower saturday, they did the guess whats in the diaper with different chocolate so it looked like poop. We did the bottle drinking game, and the one where you put the balloon in ur shirt and have to put ur shoes back on and tie them

My baby shower was on Sunday. My sister planned the games. We did the babyfood guessing game, a baby word scramble and emoji guessing game

We had a co-ed baby shower and had the guys do a pregnant belly relay race. We divided them into 2 teams, and had them put on the belly and pants, do jumping jacks, throw sandbags in a hoola hoop, hoola hoop, and limbo across the finish line. I bought the pregnant bellies on Amazon, everyone seemed to really enjoy this game :)

We played the price is right and baby bingo! Both were a huge hit!! Baby bingo got everyone involved and excited as I opened up gifts which made it more fun.

Guess how big your belly is, we used streamer for this and had them write their names in pen on the end of their strip.

Guess what’s in the diaper bag, you let them feel it and whoever guesses the most items correct

Guess how many is in the jar. My shower was winnie the pooh themed so I filled it with yellow gummy bears.

Who knows mom and dad best, we did the same questions for both of us to make it a little faster but the one with most correct total won

diaper raffle of course. You have guests bring a pack of diapers and their name gets written on a car and placed in a box and you pull a winner

We did the don’t say baby game/steal the clothespin game (we did Winnie the Pooh so clothespins were Eeyore tails), guess how big the belly is, guess how many items in the jar there are (we did honeycombs in a Pooh cookie jar) winner kept jar, hubby wanted to be involved so he did a bad dad joke game… but everyone’s favorite was baby food pong!
We set up one end of the table like beer pong, each cup had random numbers (1-9) in them and one prize winning cup. Guests had to toss the pong ball into a cup & sample the baby food corresponding with the number they landed in. If they won they got to keep a center piece and cute themed hand sanitizer.

Hospital Bag?

Hey everyone! When is the right time to pack your hospital bag and what on earth do I need? I see so many different websites and advice on social media that it all gets very overwhelming. Thank you so much for any help.

Heart murmur

Took my 4 month old to the GP yesterday for something unrelated and when checking him over they heard a heart murmur. That didn’t say too much and scheduled another GP appointment for next week. Just wondering if any other mummas babies have had one and what their journeys were/if baby just grew out of it. Thank you x

UK Mums: If you had an assigned midwife for your first pregnancy, but not your 2nd. Were you a bit disappointed?

For my first pregnancy I was blessed with having an assigned midwife that I saw every appointment. She was absolutely amazing, so I guess I was spoiled in that sense. This pregnancy, I see a different midwife every appointment and I am a bit disappointed. Before anyone jumps on my back I know it is not guaranteed to have an assigned midwife. It is just hard when each midwife answered my question differently at each appointment and it took the epilepsy clinic (was referred due to having seizures in the last) to give me the actual answer. I also keep getting told that if I have any general questions to contact MAU, but I always thought they were there for urgent matters? Anyways sorry for rambling, I am just a person that feels at ease with consistency 😭

Things you wish you’d do before C-Section

I’m having my section on Sunday, and trying to write a bunch of ‘self-care’ type things I want to do before hand.
Now I’m not talking the practical things like setting up changing or feeding stations etc. I’m talking things for you like shaving your legs or dying your eyebrows 😂
I know from my last section that I’m not gunna feel my best so I want to do everything I can to feel good! I’ve got a fresh haircut already!
So what are some things you did / wish you did before your c section?

Burnout

I have the odd day (like today) where I feel completely wiped out, without energy, physical especially, even if I had we good night sleep. I try entertaining baby as much as I normally do but it's a lot! Don't know if it's burnout or what.. will mention to gp in case I have some deficiency but again it's not everyday. Baby is only 4 months, am I too old?? And we'd like another at some point 🙈 don't know how mums of multiples do it
