34 weeks movement with an anterior placenta

Just looking for some advice. I’m 34 weeks, with an anterior placenta, baby is more active at night, but during the day today especially I have hardly felt her, only a few times. I’ve just got home from work and I’ve been laying down, she’s moving and my belly is moving but I’m not particularly feeling the movements/kicks. She has moved quite regularly since laying down, but I’m debating wether to call the clinic or not. She’s been quite active and is responding to me poking her, and I’m seeing my belly move but the feeling of her movements isn’t that strong

If in any doubt, always give triage a call 🤍

It depends if that’s unusual for you, if you think it’s less than a typical day then give them a call even if it’s just to put your mind at ease! I have anterior placenta too and barely feel baby during the day at work but feel her loads when I have my feet up in the evening but that has always been the case x

With an anterior placenta, it can be quite common to not feel a ton if movement until you're closer to delivering. But absolutely call triage if you have ANY worries!

I have the same thing, I don’t feel movements strongly during the day but I’ve realised it’s just because I’m moving about and distracted. If I go and sit or lie down and take some time to just put my hands on my tummy for a bit, I will feel her move eventually with my hands (quite big movements) even though I barely feel it internally! So I wouldn’t worry too much especially if you can see/feel your belly moving

couldn’t of said this better myself! This is exactly how I’d explain it too! I did call them in the end and they said they’re happy as long as she’s moving but to keep an eye. She’s moved about a lot this evening so I’m not worried as such xxx

yes this is exactly it! It’s always been like this also, just probably less as she’s gotten bigger I guess less room to move around xx

If your concerned give them a ring it's better for you and baby, I went in on Tuesday I was there 40 minutes and baby was fine xx

Bleeding while you pregnant…

I'm six weeks pregnant with my second child. At the beginning of the pregnancy, I had some light spotting. At five weeks, I had an ultrasound and a blood test for hCG levels. The ultrasound showed a bleeding wound, but it doesn't affect pregnancy. My hCG increased by 169% in two days. After all these tests, I no longer saw blood on the toilet paper after going to the bathroom. Then yesterday, I had a little difficulty going to the bathroom, and after that, I saw a small amount of blood on the toilet paper again. Nothing today. I'm going for an ultrasound on Friday, but I'm still uneasy. Has anyone else had this?

Growth scan at 34 weeks

Hi, I went to the midwife yesterday and have been referred for an urgent growth scan as baby has dropped from the 90th to 40th percentile over the last three measurements. Has anyone experienced this? So stressful 😔

Julia Donaldson Party

Hi all, I’m throwing a Julia Donaldson party for my soon to be one year old but finding it hard to find decorations etc!

I have a sign, banner, zog and Gruffalo cupcakes and of course a cake! Also going to bring some books and toys to display.

Just wondered if anyone has done anything similar and could share any ideas?

I know he won’t remember but I want to make it amazing. We aren’t renting a soft play we’re just buying a slide set and a ball pit etc so my son can use them at home! So I just to make sure the theme pops so I can take lots of pictures and show him when he’s older!

Completely exhausted 5 months postpartum

My baby boy is 5 months old and even though he sleeps 10-12 hours a night and I usually get around 6-7 hours, I am still so exhausted and I have no idea why. Maybe the mental and physical toll of being a mum? Or vitamin deficiency? I have no clue, just tired of being exhausted
