Is anyone else's back in absolute shambles? Both my upper back and lower back where my tailbone is, is constantly aching and it hurts to rotate and move sometimes 😅

My tailbone is constantly hurting I had my son two years ago I just use a hot water bottle and call it day😭

I would see an osteopath if I were you or a chiropractor. Have you seen your gp about?

Yes my lower back. It hurts most days and it’s absolutely awful at night. Don’t know if it’s because I side sleep to feed my boy.

My whole back is normally frozen stiff when I first wake up 🙃

Glad it's just not me and it's common definitely helps a slight bit with health anxiety 😅

My one shoulder up to my neck absoloutley feels shattered since having my son! helps to rotate your shoulders back and forth, you’ll hear little clicks almost asif the air is escaping and keep doing it until it stops. Try get into a routine when you’ve woken up. Have to think of ourselves as machines. Try yoga!

Yep! Ditto! I go to a physio and osteo and have some strong pain killers from the docs!! Hot water plbottle is a life saver as well as deep heat. Hope it gets better soon! But deffo worth going to the docs xxx

Here to say the same I have so much pain after having him it use to be just lower back but now my middle and upper back are wrecked too 🫠

Yes all the time it's the worst pain ever

Yes. My lower back. I am needing to have back surgery on mine sadly

Yes! I have coccydinia and disc / lumber and sciatica! 19 months now 😭

I find Pilates and core strengthening exercises have really really helped my back! My 11 month old weighs 12.5kg already so carrying him puts a lot of strain!

I gave birth 3 months ago and I feel like my back just keeps getting worse, despite seeing a physio at 6 weeks and getting some exercises to do (which I have kept up). The pain is exacerbated by chores like washing nappies, cooking, ironing and doing dishes, as well as rocking the baby for extended periods. Oh, and sleeping - I almost prefer it when the baby wakes up multiple times during the night,1 because being upright for a feed gives my back a nice break from the bed. All in all, not fun!

Yes I’m in the same boat too. Add sciatica to the mix and upper neck pain I’m miserable
Hey ladies! I am currently 29.5 weeks pregnant with my second child. Although I am still making it to the gym twice a week I want to go more. My mom and friends are telling me I should be resting and should stop working out. I am a very active person and I was lifting 5 times a week prior to being pregnant. What are your opinions on this?!

What was everyone’s experience and what did you do to recover?
My first born was born by c section and it was a really bad recovery I want a natural birth and I’m so worried about the aftercare or what to do to avoid damage down there

I had an emergency C-section with my first at age 39. 10 hours of labor, stalled at 8cm and his heart rate kept dropping significantly. I’m now age 40 and 30 weeks pregnant. Time to decide if I’m going to try vaginal birth or just schedule the c-section. Part of me wants the traditional experience, but the other part of me is terrified and almost feels like another c-section would be the “easy way out” lol. My doctor was so quick to just suggest scheduling the c-section, but curious to hear VBAC success stories or if the recovery from a second c-section was awful or not too bad - help!
