HiPP vs Bobbie

Has anyone tried the formulas in Canada and what was your experience with them? I like that they are supposed to be more clean and natural but looking for any advice from others who have used them.

In my birth and baby class we’re taking with Alberta Healthcare they said nothing replaces breastmilk. They recommend not to have any formula on hand as it is a lot more likely you’ll use it. Still your decision but I’m personally all for the boobie… I also like the simplicity of it, as they say there’s no bottles to clean and sterilize, keep warm, freeze, reheat, etc. etc.

They say that “they make these formulas sound like they’re just as good as milk but they’ll never be”. These were my instructor’s words.

Ontario formulas, I work for Shoppers drug mart and I can tell you that they are constantly being sold out. But I don’t recommend formula in my opinion, breast is always the better route for the full nutrition. The formulas develop the brain but breast will give you a genuine connection and help the brain.

Brest feeding 6 months plus

Hi. Silly question but how does people navigate Brest feeding when baby gets their teeth? I never made it this far while b feeding my other two so I’m not sure what the next stages will look like.

Long night wakings and exhaustion

My 4 week old wakes once/ twice in the night. Problem is that the wake period is really long. It’s not that he’s awake for the whole time, but he struggles to get comfy again in his next to me. It often means I’m awake from about 2-4am and then he wakes again around 6 and we don’t get back to sleep after that one. We don’t get to sleep until around 10:30/11 as that is when he has his evening feed. My toddler is also waking in the night too sometimes. I’m so so tired that I can’t think straight and I’m also doing nursery runs/ looking after a toddler at the same time as a newborn and just feeling really overwhelmed. My husband helps out but he’s back at work and is knackered too. Is anyone else having similar issues?

Is this true?

You can't enact your second amendment rights in an airport.
That's why they've sent ICE there.

Bottle refusal

EBF and deciding I want a bit more flexibility so wanted to introduce a bottle so I can go out more.

She used to take one three months ago. Now she flat out refuses and cries - doesn’t matter if it’s expressed breastmilk or formula. Tried it in a sippy cup as well. What can I do?
