Bit new to this so just wondering is there an appointment before the 12 week scan at musgrove? I’ve done a self referral on badger notes and it just says to contact them if you haven’t heard from them by the time you are 10 weeks?

You'll have a booking appointment before your scan between 8-12 weeks but will probably be at a smaller local facility not musgrove xx

You should have a booking appointment to meet your midwife and they then book all of your scans etc. I know they have been really short staffed. If you 10 weeks and not heard, ring Bracken ward, it's run by community midwives. Which gp are you with? X
I’m with east quay in Bridgwater. I called them and they told me to pop in to pick up a pack which we did and it’s basically just a sheet saying to do a self referral so we were a bit confused x

How many weeks are you? My friend had the same issue. And I'm sorry to say she had to keep pestering. I'd ring Bracken, say you've heard nothing and have done a self referral x
only 5 and a half at the moment so a while til I’m 10 weeks but just think it’s weird that I’m supposed to sit around and wait for over a month to see if I hear something x

It's one of the down sides to the system I'm sorry. If you want any information we can help, but unfortunately you do have to wait for that appointment to see anyone. I have had 2 children and I feel you need most support in those first few weeks.
Make sire you limit your caffine and take folic acid xxx
