Question about poking baby in womb

So I’m almost 24 weeks and baby is getting big enough to we’re when I’m laying on my stomach I can feel a hard lump where she is and sometimes I’ll poke it if I havnt felt her move in a while or when she kicks sometimes I’ll poke back and feel her but my bf always gets worried and I’m wondering if that can hurt the baby or bruise them or anything ?

I’m just concerned after doing it a bit that it could possibly be her head sometimes that I’m poking and I don’t want it to affect her brain

I poke back too to make her move bc it usually is uncomfortable for me. I don't think it's a problem. 🤷‍♀️

Definitely not a problem some babies will think it’s a game as they get older and kick back. My son never did it. If i started feeling that area or poking hed literally hide

It definitely won’t hurt or affect her at all. Even if you like poked hard. There is so much inbetween the outside and where they are you wouldn’t be hurting them

She's protected by a lot so it'll be fine

Yes baby is insulated, poke away. It's gonna be fun to get her reaction to the pokes in a couple months when you're almost due 🙂

I’ll tell you from personal experience, when I went for my 20 week ultrasound, my doctor was PUSHING on my stomach. So you should be good!

My baby likes to kick all night so I take it as our bonding time and poke back then sometime the baby would be more on one side and I can feel the pressure so I’ll do a couple poke to get em moving
