Tutti bambini tilt?

I’ve removed my sleepy head from her next to me ( yes I know it’s not recommended) because of the hot weather but I’m finding that she is ending up right up against the side of the un zipped part? Partly because she likes to feel something but the mattress is tilting, anyone else got this problem?

Yes! My little girl seems to gravitate towards that side too, idk whether it’s because she’s heavier now but she’s only 15 weeks so hoping it lasts her a couple more months😬

is that from a tilt or just comfort? I’m worried her putting her face in the side?

Avatar

do you think? I think it looks tilted without her in it too and I’ve read online others have said the same

not sure, I do find myself having to adjust it even when she’s not in tho tbf! Wonder if it’s a fault with the design - Im sure I’ve read if you email tutti bambini they can replace it or something, ours was a gift though so we don’t have the receipt🙃xx

That's so weird! I've read this by accident and my boy always ends up on one side, I've often thought the crib looks tilted but my husband says he doesn't. Good to know it's not just me, I generally leave him as it's breathable but it's not ideal!

Avatar

mine is the same.
i rolled up a muslin cloth and put it along the side under the mattress to even it out x

My little boy was the same (also in the tutti bambini) but can’t say I ever noticed it tilting 🤷🏻‍♀️ Might just be because all of her weight is on that side or it might be a fault? Couldn’t hurt to take some pictures and send them across to Tutti Bambini customer service, they were incredibly helpful when I had a problem with their highchair x

I am sure mine does the same. Ever since my LO has begun to wriggle though he puts his face right up to the side. It’s scary to say the least when I look over and his face is up against the side, but I just keep moving him back 🤷🏼‍♀️
But yeah ours definitely tilts slightly I didn’t consider it being a design fault x

Hey. Inoticed the same with mine. I realised that underneath there are 2 metal prongs either side that are meant to slot into part of the legs/stand. Just check They are in. Mines alot sturdier now. If you need me to photograph what I mean. Just ask 😂

Did you try to turn the mattress around and see if lo moves to another side? Small test before u write it off. It seems a lot of babies atm are trying to sleep poking their face in crib borders, whichever crib people use x

I’ll have a look thank you

Thanks everyone such a worry when they put their face in the side even though it’s zipped down and only a short side it’s still worrying. It’s not mesh so I wonder how breathable it is?

Swaddle Transition

Hey moms! 🤍

My name is Gabi, and I’m a first-time mom. My baby will be 7 weeks old tomorrow, and recently I’ve noticed that when he’s swaddled, he keeps escaping and wakes up with one or sometimes both arms out.

I did a little research and saw a lot of recommendations for the Love to Dream swaddle. I understand the concept, but I’m not sure I love it for my baby. I also came across a couple of other transitional swaddles on Amazon—the Omni Swaddle Sack and the 4-Way Houdini-Proof Swaddle Sack—but now I’m second-guessing what to choose.

Before swaddling, we were co-sleeping, and he actually slept really well on his belly. Even now, he seems most comfortable napping on his belly.

I’d love to hear your experiences or recommendations—what worked for your babies during this transition?

Co-sleeping

Have tried to put baby in the next to me but he is refusing. He is currently sleeping in the najell sleep carrier between me and my husband. Any advice? Co-sleeping is making me anxious!

Would you take your baby put of the car seat in traffic

We were driving home from pur vacation and at the end our baby was seriously crying. We were stuck in traffic, so i took the baby out of the car seat (i was sitting in the back next to it) and put it back when we were moving faster again. Would you bave done that? Have you been in a similar situation before?

Fussy baby

For the last few days every time I put my 5 week old down he just cries, sometimes screams. I can’t get anything done. Any tips?

Earlier bedtime

What time do you put your baby to bed?

I keep seeing that putting them to bed earlier makes them sleep longer? Has anyone tried this? What’s your experience
