Earlier bedtime

What time do you put your baby to bed?

I keep seeing that putting them to bed earlier makes them sleep longer? Has anyone tried this? What’s your experience

My girl falls asleep about 7/730 and it works well! If she refuses her last nap.. I’ve put her down anytime after 6 and classes that as bedtime!

Same as above, I aim for 7ish but tonight he’s gone to bed at 6:20 as last nap was shorter than I’d hoped for 🫣🤔

We aim for 7 but it can sometimes be between 7 and 8 depending on his last nap. He tends to do 7-5am or 7-6am most nights

My little boys last nap finishes16.30 ish then feed and feed him for bed at 7 but he's tired by then so sleep feeds (ebf) meaning we r still struggling with cluster feeding all evening til 10pm ISH and he's up so many times through the night. Like u I'm exhausted hoping these beautiful babies start to sleep better for us soon

Toddler abusing me :((

Girrrlll, ladiess how do we deal with our toddler hitting us ? Currently my head is buzzing bc my son decided to hit me in the head with a heavy ass tub of cream , but its a non stop occurrence... Last night as we were going to sleep, all quiet , randomly BAM a heavy slap that actually burned my cheek... Ive been doing gentle parenting , saying " no, its not nice " lets be gentle like this *showing how to gently caress someone s face* ... idk what to do anymore... If I can see something coming, I'll stop it before he actually hits me ...but sometimes its just rlly random.. pls help 😔😔

Formula feeding mums

I’m a formula feeding mum never tried breast feeding as I know it would over stimulate me. Does any other formula feeding mums feel judged sometimes for not breastfeeding or even trying to breast feeding?

Do you validate your toddlers feelings all the time?

I see so many posts about validating a toddlers feelings, and curious to know if other moms agree with it or disagree. I don't agree with it because they should start learning early on their emotions should match the situation.

16 month old only says cat and mama

How many words do your babies have? My baby is bilingual (or will be), she understands so much, but only has a couple of words.

Swaddle Transition

Hey moms! 🤍

My name is Gabi, and I’m a first-time mom. My baby will be 7 weeks old tomorrow, and recently I’ve noticed that when he’s swaddled, he keeps escaping and wakes up with one or sometimes both arms out.

I did a little research and saw a lot of recommendations for the Love to Dream swaddle. I understand the concept, but I’m not sure I love it for my baby. I also came across a couple of other transitional swaddles on Amazon—the Omni Swaddle Sack and the 4-Way Houdini-Proof Swaddle Sack—but now I’m second-guessing what to choose.

Before swaddling, we were co-sleeping, and he actually slept really well on his belly. Even now, he seems most comfortable napping on his belly.

I’d love to hear your experiences or recommendations—what worked for your babies during this transition?
