Breastfeeding pillow after c-section

Should I take my breastfeeding pillow to hospital? My mom is saying that I will not be able to seat for breastfeeding for a while after c-section so will not need the pillow at the beginning. What was your experience?
Thanks

I didn’t bring a breast feeding pillow but I was able to sit up & used normal pillows to help prop babe!

I brought my boppy pillow to the hospital with me first and I loved having it. And I had a c section. It was helpful to have it for extra support when laying to feed him and for others when they were holding him (not feeding) while in the hospital

Yes I would use a feeding pillow. They get a bit silly with c section BF advice, like they say only to do rugby hold etc but for me that really wasn’t necessary. Using a pillow, cradle hold etc all fine. My c section was an emergency. They give you pain relief and while you can still feel stiff and a bit sore in the area it’s really not bad (my experience) 🤷‍♀️

I took mine.. didn't use it to breastfeed tbh didn't need to but my god was it a life saver to help ME sleep haha xx

I didn’t need it, plenty of comfy pillows were provided and I felt supported. You’ll be reclined in the bed for hours till you get up and walk. I was feeding her in a chair in the morning, no issues whatsoever.

I took on mine, I’m glad I did 🤗

I used normal pillows after my c section but would probably be a lot easier with a breastfeeding pillow!

bring ittttt. it was so hard with the Pillows at the hospital to get the right height consistently. I was so tired and drugged I couldn't hold bub made it all veeeeeery hard. as soon as I got home with the pillow it became easy.

Contractions

Hi! I’m 37w5d. I started having terrible pressure in my perineum, pelvic pain, and back pain. I'm also having painful contractions—but my water hasn't broken. I'm using an app to monitor my contractions, and it says "Get ready." I have 5-10 minutes to get to the hospital, first time mom.
Is it time to call the hospital or stay home?🙈 I’m very stressed and don’t know what to do.

1day post emergency section

I was induced with my second child and was in the hospital for 5 days before they broke my water, after labouring for 10 hours I ended up having an emergency c section. 24 hours later I’m home and very sore. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for healing and recovery please? Feel like everything the midwives said went straight out of my head as I had been awake nearly 36 hours when I finally was taken to theatre
