@Sian yes it’s all dry! It happened the first time I ever used it. The replacement they sent out works just fine so must be a faulty part with the old one. But thought if I could figure out what part needed replacing with the old one I could fix and use as a double pump xx
@Amy it could be the diaphragm or the outer casing. If it were me, I’d clean, dry and put this back together again to see if it leaks every-time. It’s worth a try to see if you can make it into a double pump.
Are there any small cracks in the plastic? Just looking at mine now trying to figure out where it could come from 🤔 X
@Taylor I’m going to really inspect it when I get home! I’ve just joined an elvie stride group on Facebook too so I’m hoping someone else has had the same issue and resolved it. Just feels like a waste that it’s sat in the cupboard when I could probably fix it!x
Definitely! I bought the single and ended up buying the double kit, it's so much easier. So definitely worth it if you can fix it x
When you add the green large part, make sure the inside seams are completely dry. You might have to stick your finger inside of it. Also, don't bend over in them lol. The tubes can also come apart completely, allowing you to properly clean them (they don't tell you that though.)
A lot of reviews I read babe said it’s just a leakage type of pump!
Yea, it looks like the diaphragm is letting milk through, is it clean, dry and in tact? Had it worked before leak-free?
