Ik it’s bad to take them a bath everyday may dry out their skin. Maybe just a water bath and then an actual bath with soap the next day or two. My 5 month old doesn’t get so dirty so I don’t need to wash her every night but she still knows that it’s bedtime at 8pm.

we do bath time every night since he was about 2 weeks old but only soap maybe once a week.. just gets him ready for bed and tells him it’s time for the long nap lol he’s been a great sleeper since he was a baby. I just enjoy the routine :)

I can't get myself to commit to bath every night with my baby. I do 2 or 3 times a week but he's the easiest sleeper so bath or not he sleeps amazingly

Mine is an easy sleeper and does not get very dirty so I do a bath 2-3x week. However, I agree that consistency is best so a daily bath is not super necessary, depending on the kid and lifestyle, if you have a routine that lets them know it’s time to sleep. If you do a daily bath I agree with others that a sponge water bath most days and some with soap.

I do it every other day, but if she has been outside in this heat then i’ll give it that night.

I only give her a bath once every 3 days. She has full body eczema. Too much bath time drys her out and her skin cracks and bleeds.

I’ve given my daughter a bath every night since she came home from the hospital, even with soap.. she must not have sensitive skin because she’s never dried out or had a sensitivity. All babes are different. But I do it every night before bed to help stimulate relaxation and let her get out any extra energy.

Bath time every night before bed to set the mood 😅 but soap only 3 days a week!

I just started bedtime bathtime due to having issues with him going down for the night & it has worked so far 🤞
We do every night & I haven't seen any issues with his skin, I would just keep an eye on it or start every other night. You got this mama! ❤️

We do bath time every night with Splish splash by Elmo to play and relax and get ready for bed with low lights. He loves the bath. We do some soap every other day to not dry him out.

Help

My 5 week old is always up from 1am every hour grunting and squeaking and just won’t sleep. I end up having to bring him with me and I’m worried I’m creating a rod for my own back. I’m exhausted. First half of the night he’s okish. But from 1/2 it’s absolute hell. He farts a lot then as well but I just dunno what to do. Last night was the worst it’s been.

Not sure what’s wrong- 5months

Has anyone experienced any of the below problems with their baby?
He’s always a happy baby so this is completely not him. He’s a terrible sleeper but now it’s worse, if it could.

He’s was EBF but now on formula for the last 2 weeks. 2 days in a row now he’s vomitted a lot of milk out everywhere in the evening and just before bed.
For example I was walking around the room with him around 18:45 and it just came out of no where everywhere.

He’s very miserable and takes ages to get to sleep. Crying lots.
He’s been dribbling a lot, flushed one cheek but I can’t see any teeth coming.

All night he just won’t settle in his cot. Sometimes just starts crying hysterically and I can’t settle him at all.

A very tired mama.

Any advise on what it could be?

When do I drop the dream feed?

14 weeks old currently has last awake bottle at 7pm, then is asleep by 8ish downstairs.
Carry her up and she usually stirs so ive been giving her 5oz dream feed.which she drains
Then she is up at 2-3am for another feed and goes back down till 6/7am ish.

When do I up her oz bottles throughout the day and drop the dream feed?

She currently has 5oz bottles..80% of the time drains them, sometimes only has a little snack

Pregnancy insomnia??!

Hey, I’m 28 weeks and this is my 3rd baby. For the past 2 weeks I am able to get to sleep fine but really struggling with 3-4am wake ups. Once I wake up I cannot get back to sleep, meaning come 9-10am I am absolutely exhausted. Has anyone gone through this and is able to shed some tips on what might help

Is there any correlation between sleeping through the night and types of feeding?

Did your baby age 0-6months sleep through the night, 6 hours or more, and how were they fed? It always see like formula fed babies sleep through the night sooner than breastfed babies.
