When do I drop the dream feed?
14 weeks old currently has last awake bottle at 7pm, then is asleep by 8ish downstairs.
Carry her up and she usually stirs so ive been giving her 5oz dream feed.which she drains
Then she is up at 2-3am for another feed and goes back down till 6/7am ish.
When do I up her oz bottles throughout the day and drop the dream feed?
She currently has 5oz bottles..80% of the time drains them, sometimes only has a little snack

My LO is 12 weeks, on 6oz during day, then a 7oz about 8 - asleep from 9 till 5am most nights x
i’d probably up her an oz if she’s draining the bottles. my wee boy is 15 weeks old and has been on 6oz for a few weeks now. we start bath bottle and bed around 8.30pm sometimes 8pm and he’s falls asleep around 9/9.30 until 6/7am. over the last week he’s been draining his bottles so will probably up him to 7oz. hopefully with the extra oz in her bottles during the day she’ll drop that 2/3 am feed that’s what happened with us 😊
We went up to 6oz when she was draining her 5oz and wanting more every 2 hours. Now the 6oz she’s happy for 3-4 hours and sleeping through about 9-7 most nights x
We were told to up the Oz if they are draining th bottle. Sounds like maybe you should up them I. The day 🥰

Comfy bras?
Is anyone else still wearing nursing bras even after they’ve stopped nursing because it’s just comfortable?? Because hi 🙋♀️. I would like nothing more than to retire them as war heroes but what are we all wearing as alternatives? Does anyone have recommendation for comfy supportive cute bras? ‘Cause the girls do be needing more support after 9 months of nursing. I was looking at the Knix no underwire ones.

Pram inserts for newborns
My mum has recently found a free pram that’s she’s brought home for us, it’s a bugaboo chameleon 3, with an L shaped bucket seat, but it also reclines back fully (will include pictures). There’s some parts missing, we’ll need to get more straps for it. As the seat fully reclines, I’m guessing there’s some sort of seat you can put it in for babies that need to lie at an 180 angle. I really need help finding a seat, I have no idea what to look for or any of the pram terminology. I’m hoping to get something to put in it for a newborn before thinking about buying a whole other pram well only use for 5 months. Any advice appreciated

Colostrum
Hi,
Have started trying to harvest colostrum because I have gestational diabetes and am due soon and apparently it’s really beneficial for GD babies. At the moment I can only get the tiniest amount that you can’t even really see in the syringe. I am just using my hands at the moment. Would pumping help better or does anyone have any other tips on how to express more?

Ideas with how to keep my baby on her back for nappy changes
Hey all!
My girl is nearly 7 months and for little while she has been a nightmare to change her nappies and clothes 🫣😂
All she wants to do is roll onto her front and try crawl off the mat!
I used to be able to distract her by singing and dancing - but now I can’t find anything to distract her and I’m chasing her around her changing mat 😂 and trying to change her backwards lol
I know it’s normal for most babies to go through these stages, just wondered if anyone has found anything that has helped.?

Naps
What are your naps looking like at the moment?
She’s fighting every single nap and I feel like maybe I’ve got the timing off or should be getting her to push through tiredness. Feeling a bit clueless atm
Her fighting naps is delaying everything so it’s leading to her bedtime edging later and later

Baby doesn’t like being put down
My 8 wk baby always wants to be held. Since he was born he doesn’t like going down in his crib at all, and even though we’ve tried everything ( I mean everything! The clothes wth my scent on them, holding him for 20 mins into a deep sleep then putting him down, swaddles) he wakes up and cries as soon as he’s down. This is the same everywhere, I can put him in his rocker or play mat for around 20 mins when all the stars align and he’s in a good mood. I’m scared I’m building a stick for my own back and that he will always be clingy. Anyone gone through something similar?
