MAM bottles

Hi everyone
I have MAM bottles and dummies.
I know they are self sterilising in the microwave so this may be a silly question (FTM) but do I need to purchase an additional steriliser for them?

Also what is the process for sterilising them? Is it…
1. Hand wash in warm soapy water
2. Pop in microwave
3. Store (can I just store in cupboard?, once they are sterilised how long will they last?)

The instructions will be on the product when you open them up. My dummies had it all in the paper attached to the top. Covered every point.

Just hoping for a little support and reassurance …

Ooooh :-( ok don’t fret. I’m a FTM-to-be & don’t have this particular brand.

Hopefully someone will clarify but mine said to wash and rinse in soap then sterilise. Storage I THINK was 48 hours. So need to redo mine when she comes! I imagine I’ll be cleaning them daily so didn’t mentally retain that bit.

Don't stress ☺️ instructions available on MAMs blog.

Yes just wash the in warm soapy water then , break the bottle up (it shows you on the box ,add water to bottom off bottle) and put in microwave im sure you add a minute on for a extra bottle in micro (if that makes sense) and it’s good for 48 hours with mam I’m sure , I’m a ftm aswell and going by the instructions and my sisters x

Hey!! I used MAM for my first, if you’d like I can send you a video on how to sterilise them? They are sterile for 24 hours after they have been done and can be kept anywhere! Maybe have a dedicated cupboard or tub to put them in! We did buy the Nuby steriliser for home as truthfully i got lazy 😂 but the are perfectly okay to be done in the microwave and we always did so when we went away! That’s why we used them to begin with as it’s the only bottle you can dismantle completely to clean and sterilise and can do on the go! Xx

Bottle refusal

EBF and deciding I want a bit more flexibility so wanted to introduce a bottle so I can go out more.

She used to take one three months ago. Now she flat out refuses and cries - doesn’t matter if it’s expressed breastmilk or formula. Tried it in a sippy cup as well. What can I do?

shower infront of children

Is it weird to shower infront of your children, or your children see you naked?
At what age should this stop?

I’m just looking at what everyone’s thoughts are as I have a 7 month old and at the moment it’s hard for me to shower without him getting upset.

We contact nap atm, otherwise I'd shower when he sleeps!

It’s easier to bring his play mat into the bathroom whilst I shower so i can at least wash, else i have to wait for my husband to arrive home at 5/6pm.

Keen to see what people's opinions are and how other people do this!

GIRL DADS TAKING DAUGHTER TO BATHROOM IN PUBLIC

If a girl dad needs to take his daughter to the bathroom in public and there are no family bathrooms … I swear video online of a dad saying he uses the women’s bathroom but always knocks and announces ‘girl dad helping my daughter go to the bathroom’ and I love that idea and mens rooms are disgusting but wanted to see everyone’s thoughts
