When did everyone find out C SECTION date

I was planning elective c section due to mental health being super bad all through pregnancy but turns out my baby’s breech anyway lol so looking to be a section either way anyway but when did you all find out your section dates ? I’m nearly 36 weeks and worried to go into natural labour before my section date as I haven’t got it yet. My hospital is 2 hours away aswell so very worrying!

I got my date last Thursday (36+5) and my date is September 11th when I'll be 39+2 x

I didn't get mine, I got to 38 weeks and my daughter stopped moving so had to get an emergency. She was all fine but it was just incase. I was told they wouldn't really have given me one until at keadt my due date even though my daughter was breech too 🤷‍♀️

I got my date my 35 weeks xx

32weeks

I got mine at 38weeks for 39weeks. I think it depends on your trust. I was told throughout that if I went into Labour to go straight in and say you are having a c-section and they’ll book you in straight away.

I was to be induced early as deemed high risk pregnancy, I had a scan days before my 36 weeks and thought they would tell me then but they didn’t, was 37+5 days when they gave me date to go in which was 38+1.

I think it also depends on which hospital you are under

I got mine at 37+3, had him 2 days later x

I got mine 3 weeks before my due date

Visitors after C-Section

I’ve firmly expressed I don’t want visitors when we’re in the hospital and likely not for a while when home. I want us to be able to adjust but also for me to start to recover, I’ve got a condition that causes seizures and poor wound healing so anticipating it could potentially be difficult at first.

I don’t want to be unfair to people, but I know it’s going to be detrimental mentally for me to have people. I’ve been pushed on specifics on how long and said “we’ll say 2 weeks for now including the hospital and then let people know.” I can tell that my mom is not happy in the slightest and there’s been a few comments.

What do others recommend? Is it better to just grit your teeth and get people over to keep the peace? Is it wrong to want the space?

No bleeding after c section

9 days post op and I’ve not been bleeding at all.. I only bled some clots for the first 24-48 hours but nothing after that. Midwives are advising this is normal, has anyone else experienced no bleeding after c section?

How many people can stay in hospital

Hi all, do you know how many people can stay with you in the hospital after your delivery in the recovery room? Mine is a planned C-section at Homerton. Do they allow more than 1?

31 weeks movement

My baby moves all the time but is anyone else finding that the movement are more rolls and pushes than actual jabs! I only get jabs and kicks now if I am laying down but during the day I mainly get rolls and pushing. I haven’t been worried that his movements have reduced just different kinds of moving.

Period like pains

I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and having dull period like cramps in my lower belly and slightly in my lower back. Has anyone else had this? I’m wondering if it’s just general pregnancy stretching muscles etc or the start of something.. 😬

6 week check

6 week check is tomorrow however baby had an appointment today and i asked if id get checked and signed off .. and he said they don’t do it anymore and to just listen to my body? im abit disappointed from having an infection on and off since 2 weeks post op . is this normal? how would i know if im signed off etc ?
