Does anyone else feel guilty if they let their 6 month old watch TV? Sometimes I just need a moment...the only thing I put on is either "Dorys Reef Adventure" which is just white noise with the Nemo characters swimming around, or Miss Rachel. But everytime I put on the TV, I feel guilty and hear my pediatrician going "no screen time until 18 months!". Mind you, I only let her watch for 20/30 min MAX. But I still feel guilty, like I'm failing her somehow.....pic for attention, this is her chewing on part of my dress 😅

Don’t feel guilty at all. I do the same thing. Baby is fed and happy that’s all that matters. I let my 9 year old do the same and he turned out just fine. You are doing great mama

I used to but then I remember growing up on tv and I hope I’m okay. Lol
Also most of the studies regard screen time as bad due to the fact that you’re not interacting with your child and parking them in front of a tv all day. If you’re giving your child attention the other times. Yeah it’s okay to let ms.Rachel take the wheel.
Mine gets to watch ms. Rachel from 5-6 everyday. It’s how I can cook and get some things done. Plus she LOVES her. She screams and tries to talk back. I’m more concerned with her loving ms.Rachel more than me 😆
Don’t feel bad. We all need help and screen time isn’t going to hurt your baby unless it’s excessive or like a horror movie. Saw alien when I was little and I was scared of it for YEARS. Hahaha

I feel the same way. My son gets all giddy and smiles when she comes on. I swear he loves her more 😂

legit hurts my feelings sometimes. I’ve learned all her songs and everything! I’m just gonna out and get the damn headband and be done with it. 😆

don’t forget the overalls lol I sing all the songs to him too.

Glad you’re not putting on coco melon. A friend of a friend baby would constantly be watching that. He was pretty far behind learning things

I feel this guilt sometimes, but it is nice in the morning for Ellie to watch My Little Pony before the rest of the house gets up. She ends up sleeping a little more at some point :)

Thanks everyone. Glad I'm not alone 😅

No, I had endless amounts of tv when I was a kid and I’m fine.
