Help! Looking for any advice on how to deal with our 6.5 month old who has suddenly started rolling on her belly at night, and getting upset because she can’t roll back yet. She wasn’t falling back asleep when she was stirred awake last night and kept rolling onto her belly, I had to keep going in to flip her back and ended up pulling her into bed with me! Just wondering if others have gone through similar?

I put my little one in one of those baby sleeping bags and I actually tuck it in to the bottom of his cot as it’s 6-18 months so a little long for him at the minute! I think that’s the only thing saving me, although I feel bad that he’s almost in a straight jacket 😂 but it settles him so much more

My 5 month old been doing that there’s nothing wrong leaving them to sleep on belly if they know to go back an fourth I do it all the time xxx

And been told that u don’t have to move them back xx

Practice tummy time in the day so she can practice rolling from tummy to back under supervision.

This is the same with my daughter. Since she was learning how to rolled over she will flip and sleep on her tummy. I was stressing about this so much but she’s actually sleep through the night with no issues. We also used sleep sack (Dreamland) since she was 4mo and has been our life saver since.

Mine did that and a week or so later he was rolling back to his back in his sleep, though couldn’t do it while awake
