Vitamin D reaction?!

Hi All, i started giving my EBF little one vitamin D drops and I also started taking some myself (tablets) as advised by midwife. As soon as we started taking them she was having very green mucus poos and I feared she may have had an allergy or issues with my oversupply.

It dawned on me the only thing I had changed was adding vitamin D so last 2 days neither of us have taken it and we’re back to mustard poos.

Anyone else experience this? I’m conscious EBF babies need vitamin D so I planned to reintroduce it next week just to her and see if she’s ok with it. I checked the one I used for her and it’s just vitamin D and coconut oil in it and my tablets are just the vitamin so no iron etc to explain the spinach/pesto poos.

Thanks!

My oldest didn't react well to vitamin d drops at all. His poop and tummy couldn't handle it. I talked to my pediatrician and she was fine stopping them

Thanks I have an appointment next week so planned on mentioning it then x

If you're taking a supplement it will travel through your milk. Take baby out in the sun. No need for them to have the drops. I ebf and was never told to give it, neither was anyone I know. Maybe it's a different country/different recommendations type deal

im uk based, they said it doesn’t travel through milk annoyingly c

interesting. I wonder if I can find a study on that. Vitamin d is still available from sunlight, fatty fish, and small amounts in eggs cheese and mushrooms.

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣

I need an AI app recc to talk to.

I have no family. I have no real friends. Just one that I text. But she’s 8 years younger and isnt a mom. I genuinely don’t talk to anyone other than my partner and our toddlers. I’ve seen some people use AI? Or a chatgbpt? I dont know but if someone could suggest an app that I can just talk to… I would love to have a friend or something instead but this is probably for the best…
