I’m going back to work soon and will have my nanny bottle feed my son when I am not available. Any advice for transitioning to this? My baby does currently take one bottle a day in the morning so I’m not worried about him refusing the bottle. I’m curious what others pumping schedules are like and how many ounces they feed eat meal. Also advice on keeping up supply while pumping.

I have noticed my baby wants more and more in the morning over the weeks, he sleeps through the night and used to eat 4oz now he is eating 6 or more

But he has become very difficult to breast feed, very distracted all the time and I do think he will do better with the bottle at every meal

This is what helped me in terms of preparing her feeds for the next day. And any leftover milk after 3 days, I would freeze.

Keep in mind it takes 20 minutes for baby’s belly and brain to sync up. If he sucks down a bottle and still seems hungry, it might be because his brain hasn’t caught up yet.
I’ve been recommended to take mother love more milk plus tincture to help with milk supply. And to do what you can to pump on the baby’s schedule. This is a lot easier if you have an app that you can share with feeding times.

I pump at 7am, 9am, 11am and 1pm, loosely. I typically get around 15 oz and he typically drinks 12oz during a work day, not on a specific schedule.
