Was an FFA carer before adopting. Microwave steriliser was great, prep machine was really useful (advice differs with health visitors) we always used cooled boiled water and the branded filters), baby will likely have been fed before coming to you so different brands of formula are always useful to have on hand even if just a couple of premade bottles so you can continue what was given in hosp, also a few different sized sleepysuits (will often come with just one outfit from hospital).
Bottle feeding tips - make sure teat is always full when bottle tipped and baby has a good latch so they're getting minimal air. Bottle fed babies will need extra burping. Sometimes just a slow gentle recline and up again or slightly to their left will shift it. Check bottle temp on inside wrist. Hot boiled water first with formula to sterilise it, swill it rather than shake it to reduce air bubbles, add cool boiled water and continue to swill.
Grobag swaddle bags and baby wrap were must haves.
Hope this helps 😊
