I’ve noticed over the last few days that my baby doesn’t appear to be peeing in the night.
She’s 9 weeks old, and has started sleeping much longer stretches, with last night being 8 hours!
I just went to change her, and her nappy is completely dry, even though it was last changed before she went to sleep!
She does seem to have a bit of a cold, and isn’t drinking as much as she normally does. But she’s still getting a good 25oz a day.
Should I be worried?
Picture just because she’s cute 😂

Please talk to your paediatrician your baby should have atleast one wet nappy at that age over such a long period of time, they say every 6 hours, but I found aslong as my little boy did a big wee from falling asleep to him waking up in the morning that was considered okay.

If she hasn’t had a wet nappy within an hr of being awake I would seek medical help, my 4yr old slept for 12hrs a night from about 7 weeks an a lot of the time would have a dry nappy in the morning but would always have a full wet one within an hr she was dry in the night before my 7yr old there all different but it can be perfectly normal to not have a wet nappy in the night

Thanks ladies. I spoke with a midwife who said to keep an eye on her. She has had a wet nappy twice this morning, so wondering if she was just a bit warm and dehydrated. Xxx

If she's not having night feeds, it's not unusual that she won't pee overnight. Count wet nappies though. You want at least 6 wet or dirty nappies per 24 hours.
