Hello all, I’m just over 27 weeks, when would you suggest I wash all the baby clothes & pack the hospital bag?

I’ve washed newborn/first size and a selection of 0-3 months clothes, bed sheets and blankets. When the weather was sunny in the week I couldn’t resist putting a load of washing on. It did say online it won’t have the fresh smell by the time the baby is here, but I’m just happy to know any dirt or whatever is washed off of them.
I have a list on my phone of what I want in my hospital bag but not going to pack that for a few more weeks, but I feel good knowing that there’s a list put together 😊 I’m 31 weeks on Monday x

I'm 28 weeks and next week we have some beautiful weather.. I'm going to take advantage of it and do all the washing then .. I don't like drying the clothes inside even though I've got a dehumidifier they just never smell as good as when they've been on the line! Xx

31 weeks and haven’t washed or packed a single thing😂

I’m 30 weeks and thinking about washing the clothes and getting the baby’s bag packed next week just so it’s done then I know what I need to pick up when shopping as and when if I don’t have everything x

I have started yesterday, all washed with Napisan and Fairy ☺️

I’m reducing my hours at work in a couple of weeks so will spend a few days sorting out hospital bag and washing..
keep seeing people going into labour a lot earlier than planned which freaks me out so want to be organised 😂

that’s why I’m starting to panic. How far along are you? I’ve bought loads of stuff but I’m sure I’ll have all sorts missing but until I wash and get organised I don’t know what I still need to get! X

I’m 31 weeks tomorrow.
I’ve also bought a load of stuff but need to organise it. Starting to think I need to buy a few more bigger size stuff just in case she decides to be a little chunk 😂

We've a full week of sunshine coming our way next week so perfect to get it all done and dried on line so it keeps full scent. I've bought the Fairy in wash scent boosters particularly for the stuff I'll be washing before he arrives and putting in storage so the fresh scent will last longer 🥰

I’m 29 weeks today, baby coming at 37 weeks so I’ve washed and put away half of her clothes. Doing the rest this week. Also starting my hospital bag soon. I have chronic health issues on top of being pregnant so have to do everything in little steps 😂 nothing wrong with being prepared!!!

I’m 30+1 and going away for a week today - going to do it all at 31/32 weeks just in case bubs comes early

I’m 30 weeks, I’ve done everything we have quite a while ago 😂 I bought a lot second hand off vinted so I didn’t want to store until washed, then just washing things as we get them, started washing our clothes with non bio/baby safe conditioner so didn’t have do do separate washes for baby and for us

I am 30 weeks and started washing everything in batches so that I have time to wash, iron and put away before the next batch gets done.
Will be doing my hospital bag this week

When I had my daughter 7 years ago I washed all her newborn stuff ready for her arrival.. she was 10lb 1oz so didn’t even fit half of it 🤣 wasn’t expecting a big baby and felt like it was such a waste as all tags had been taken off for washing etc so I couldn’t exchange any of it. I won’t be making the same mistake again, just incase 😬😬 xxx
