Baby is now 9 months and still wakes every 1-2hrs throughout the night. We have tried everything and now considering the Ferber method. (He will only fall asleep whilst breastfeeding for comfort)
What are peoples experiences with this?
How would I go about putting him down for his day naps?

We tried Ferber, but had to stop because little one got sick and didn't seem wise to continue. Haven't really felt the need to pick it back up as I can get him to sleep quickly and he usually doesn't wake up that much.
For Ferber I would start with night time first and leave the naps as normal so he can get some sleep. I've found Reddit r/sleeptrain really helpful for routines, schedules and reading other people's experiences with for example Farber and naps

It worked for us! Highly recommend

Treat the day naps the same as the evening sleep ! It’s hard to begin with but gets easier ! Worked for us in about 4 days

Also highly recommend. Only ended up doing it for 2 days as little one took to it pretty quickly thank god! Do the same for naps as nighttime x

I’ve been doing this method for a week now and I can attest that it’s great. I was really skeptical at first but I was getting so desperate. Tried the pick up put down method and it didn’t work for us but Ferber has worked a treat. In my experience the first night was the hardest then after that I saw huge leaps in progress very quickly. Now I don’t feed him at night at all or feed to sleep and I’ve been able to sleep 8+ hours for the first time in like a year 🥴 I’m a new woman honestly
