What are your tricks?
For e.g. what works with my LO is:
- Putting her on my shoulder and walking around in the house
- Same with the carrier
- Feeding her (BF)
- Putting her in the car seat and walking her around, swinging her or taking her for a drive

Rocking until sleepy with a dummy. Then place him drowsy but still awake in his cot or pram. He falls asleep sucking the dummy

I put him in his swaddle and lie him in his next to me and lie next to him sometimes wants dummy in sometimes doesn't. And put a pink noise machine on through the night. This is only at night time though hes a contact napper in the day 🤣 but if he goes down well at night I'm happy. Xx

Used to fall asleep on me with tapping. Slowly phased out the tapping, he then just fell asleep on me (shushing sound playing and red lamp on), then moved onto putting him down drowsy but awake… Finally started timing it right and i’ve just started putting him down and tapping him and he falls asleep!
Will slowly phase out the tapping to sleep over the next month… he’s 12 weeks x

During the day I tap her bum and snuggle her into me or gave her her dummy and she goes. In the nights I out her in her sleeping bag straight into the crib leave her moan for a little bit and she goes off within 5 to 10 mins xx

I put our son in a swaddle ( we don’t have long left of that) or in his sleeping bag, dummy and turn his Ewan sheep( during the day we have a harp during the night just a white noise) I also put next to his face a small soft toy he likes the feeling , he tosses and turns for a bit and might cry time after time but I keep checking on him and hush him a bit for comfort. I never rocked my kids and I also don’t let contact naps as I use this time to clean the house or even chill for a bit as that what keeps me sane.
