So, I started taking Sertraline about a week ago and it’s the devil. It made me so nauseas, restless, and not to mention the headaches. Over all I hated it. I know it’s different for everyone but it was a nightmare for me. Has anyone else has a negative experience with Sertraline?

I did at first, I didn’t get the nausea but was extremely drowsy and felt just weird. I started taking it at night and it leveled out after a couple of weeks. I hope you feel better soon, poor thing 🥺

I started taking sertraline about 4 years ago. I started taking it during the day, I had headaches and restlessness and also nausea and food aversions. Pretty much all the same as you. My body got used to the medication after a while and I was fine, with no side effects anymore.
After a couple years, my body became immune to the medication and so I switched to something new and then I recently started back on sertraline again. I started getting the same side effects again, but they never went away, so I started taking it at night and it changed completely! Maybe try that out or just consult your doctor and they can give you advice on what to do. Also, your body isn’t used to taking it yet. It usually takes about a month, or a little longer, for your body to get used to taking a medication. These side effects may go away after that time.
I’m just afraid to keep taking it, I usually take it in the morning and for some reason I feel weird at night with it. I didn’t take it yesterday and I felt so much better. I work at night so I’m afraid to take it and start to feel weird at work. Also, it makes me so tired and I need to be able to do my job. It’s just a catch 22

Definitely talk with your doctor! Sometimes it can take months to find the correct medication for you!! Best of luck! 🤞🏻🙏🏻
