Early Pregnancy Rainbow Baby
I went to the ER early this morning. I have been having mild back pain that gets more intense when I'm sleeping. At 4am the pain in my mid back and ribs was very bad. I went to er. And was told I have a uti, cyst on my ovary and that I'm not as far along as I thought.
I've had 1 successful pregnancy [10 year old] and 2 miscarriages. My LMP was around July 17th. The ultrasound is showing I'm not around 7 weeks which is what i thoughtbased off LMP. And that I'm showing a gestational sack and yoke sack but no fetal pole.
Have any of you ladies had a delay in seeing fetal pole? Or being told you aren't as far along as you thought? I'm so nervous to see what the next few weeks could bring. My PTSD from my previous miscarriages is high.

In this pregnancy they scared me so so so much. Went in at 6+1 for private scanning and the doc, who was sure could see also the heartbeat (!), could only see an empty gestational sac. So I was asked to scan again in 2 weeks but couldn’t wait that long and went in again the week after at 7+2 (based on LMP). They could finally see the fetal pole and redated my pregnancy to 6+3, hence why the week before the fetal pole couldn’t be seen yet.
They said there is always hope until the gestational sac is 25 mm large and empty I think.

thanks for your response. My gestational sack is still fairly small [9mm] I'm hopeful that things will improve. And baby will start growing. 🤞
I keep my fingers crossed for you and your baby, I know what the feeling is. Think mine was already around 12 mm when they didn’t see the baby, so if yours is 9 I am really hopeful. Also never mind about the shape, I was told mine was elongated and to welcome a baby it’d had to be round shaped bla bla bla. Between the two scans the sac changed its shape!
