I don’t know if it’s just because I’m getting closer to my due date (I’m 31 weeks), but I just still don’t feel ready… for a baby in general. I just keep thinking will I be a good mom? I’m only 20 and I worry about losing me… I never pictured being a mom I’m my early 20s.. but i guess everything happens for a reason. & it sounds selfish, I know, but I just keep overthinking literally everything. Im just so nervous. I’ve never been good with change in general, and knowing this is the biggest change I’ll ever have really gives me anxiety. Does/has anyone else felt this way?

Yes m all the time. But guess what they said if you wasn’t worried then there is a problem.. so therefore it’s ok just know you human and your baby is the prize at the end

It's normal to feel this way. I had my first baby at 19. I'm now 24 and about to have my third. I still feel this way. You will be a great mama. You got this! If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to you can always message me.

I had my first son in my early twenties. I mourned the idea of loosing myself and who I could’ve been if I didn’t have a child so young. On the bright side, I wouldn’t know where I’d be without my son; there’s no regrets. I’m about to have my second baby and the same thought came to mind. I think it’s natural to feel this way because the dynamic of your life is changing. I understand that you feel because you are young you are afraid of loosing you, but I know people in their 40’s who can admit they don’t know who they are, ands that’s ok. Age does not secure identity. Not only will you be fine, you can do this. Be gentle with you self, you’re having a beautiful baby ❤️

I’m 28 will be 29 when I have my baby and I still feel like this you will be ok I hate change too but every time change happens we just have to adapt is all and yeah I didn’t really enjoy my 20s how I should but I hear 30s are where it’s at so you will have time to enjoy them 😉

I’m about to be 30 and let me just say that my twenties were lame. Always trying to do all these things to make me happy but never quite feeling fulfilled. So you should know that you’re going into them with purpose and fulfillment. And once your in your 30’s you’ll have an older kid and can go out then and you’ll be more confident and secure with yourself. Just my two cents. Best of luck to you mama, you’ll do great!
