Hi, we are going to Mexico next month and our youngest will be 9 months old. I'm really stressed and confused as we can't drink the tap water then can we just use bottled water to make the formula or does this have to be boiled too?

What formula is your baby on?
When going out for the day, could you bring with you some of the pre made bottled formula. We’re on Kendamil and when we went abroad I just brought enough ready to feed bottles x

Hes on cow and Gate. I did think about that but I think to take enough would weigh the luggage down but I will pack as many as I can. It's gonna be a nightmare constantly boiling water 🤣 x x

Just spread it out between hand luggage and checked in luggage and maybe just take enough for when you go out and use boiled water for round the hotel x

We sterilised same was as Amy suggested but we had a collapsible bucket that we filled with water and Milton tablet then left the bottles in there with a plate on to weigh them down. If you are all inclusive they will give you plenty of bottled water but we took a small travel kettle as they often have coffee makers instead. We also took a flask so that I could take boiled water out with us.
If there is a boots after security at your departure airport you can order formula online to collect at airport then it doesn’t count towards your luggage and you can carry it on.
