Tips when partner goes back to work

Me again with another question! When your partner goes back to work or for single parents - any top tips? How do you eat and get stuff done?

Thank you

Meal prep food you can just microwave while you’re partner is out and learn how to eat one handed while holding baby🤣

Also, snacks. All the snacks.

Make the most of your babies best nap time- for me it’s the first one of the day so I shower, clean up etc then

Walks and/or drives really help to settle both of us when everything gets to be a bit too much

Know that you can leave baby in a safe place when you need to - I leave mine in his crib with the monitor on whenever I need 5mins (mainly to use the toilet haha)

The things I found that work for us are: baby sling (eg. hanging the washing out), bouncer (when showering, on the toilet, or getting ready), making food/eating, when she is sleeping. You'll probably find you'll potter around with lo in your arms and do the odd bits and just make it work 😊.

If you are BF make sure you have your set up ready, the amount of times I've sat down and not had a drink to hand and being super thirsty 🙃😅, can't just say to my partner can you get me my water bottle/drink please 😆

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
