I’m from the PNW so people up there constantly have low vitamin D, and in turn, get seasonal affective disorder, or SAD. I used to get hit HARD with depression every winter, so I just made it part of my vitamin routine to take vitamin D every day. I take 2000IU’s (50 mcg) a day to 1) battle that seasonal depression, and 2) help support my immune system.
