I posted on here awhile ago how I dyed my hair black and hated it so I took the plunge and bleached it. It’s definitely orange. I should have double bleached it before toning but I didn’t want too much damage. So my question is…if I bleach again after already had toning it…will it work?

It should, I don't think toning it will stop bleach from working but I would definitely wait a couple of weeks and during that time use some enrichment hair products to repair the bleach damage

thank you for your input. Yeah I’m by no means a hairdresser lol I’m actually kinda proud of myself I even achieved this light being I had black box dye on it. I’m gunna wait about 3 weeks and re bleach it. I don’t want my hair falling out lol

Try purple shampoo

Yeah that is a pretty good accomplishment and for what it's worth I think it looks good as is but you're the one that has to like it ☺️ good luck!

fair play, that’s not orange whatsoever! looks more like natural blonde. should be okay to bleach but if needs be then wait a week or however long then bleach again

I think some purple or blue shampoo with do the trick

Bleaching it again will definitely do damage. You can't really repair that damage unless you've put olapex in with you're bleach and using the after treatment. Bleach is a stripper of colour and nutrients and breaks down the cuticle on the inside. Which is what causes breakage. Your roots are also lighter than the rest so you run the risk of breakage at the roots doing it again. Would need to wait and use a very low peroxide

if I did re bleach in few weeks I don’t think I’d do my roots. I definitely think they’re light enough. Thank you for ur advice! So would a blue toner on the ends work like wella t14?

Ash can sometimes make it darker. I'd try a violet or blue/violet toner to counteract the yellow. Sorry I don't know Wella. Are you using a low semi activator for your toners. A permanent activator will put too much into your cuticle and possible blow it out, give you "root glow" also the reason to use a low activator/peroxide to go any lighter

I used a 30 developer for the bleach and toning process. And I used wella t18 which is a violet toner. I used to bleach my hair using this process but with 20 developer this was my first time using level 30 since I had black hair dye on my hair

For a second time, use 10vol or lower as its light enough you just need to clean out the rest of the colour. Good luck 😁

thank you 😊
