I live in Florida but so I’m not 100% if state makes a difference u can try applying for pregnancy medicaid.

@how do I do that

I’m not in MD, but I’ve worked as a medical receptionist in Idaho and Arizona previously and each office has had its own options for financial assistance. Usually they will either offer a payment plan which allows you to pay the bill in full over time - ex. $50 a month- OR they will offer a discount when you pay in full at the time of the service/appt. I always recommend you call the billing department directly because sometimes it can help move things along a bit faster, but if they’re difficult to reach then the front desk usually has information on how to apply for financial assistance options!

My OB told me it’s normal to have an elevated white blood cell count in pregnancy even without any kind of illness/infection. But yes definitely work with the billing department for your doctor and they can help you :)
