We are really comfortable money… wise far from rich but if an emergency came up we could take care of it and we can do what we what when we want without worrying or budgeting. In the media it seems people are struggling but at my job and at my husbands job its like its not as bad as the media is trying to make it seem. Has anyone else felt this or noticed this?

Yes, there are statistics you can look up for specifics. Appearances ≠ reality, so someone may seem to do well at your husbands job, but life for them may vary.
There are also nuances involved that will make answers vary like location, job industry, lifestyle/expenses and overall perspective of what it means to "struggle" or "thrive"
But in the general sense, I pay a lot of attention to reputable and nonbiased news sources for my info and yes you guys are blessed 🙌🏾

It is as bad, if not worse for a lot of people and families. They are actually living in poverty. Food banks are overrun and unable to meet the needs of everyone that needs to use them. Parents are skipping meals to ensure their children eat. Some children only get a hot nutritional meal at school.
It really is that bad across the board. Wages typically don’t cover the cost of living for so many people.
A lot of people aren’t financially educated or savvy. A lot of people live outside their means to “keep up with the Jones’s”. Holidays can be paid monthly over a year in advance. Same with cosmetic surgery. Nails on credit cards. Etc. “Luxuries” can be paid for using credit to keep up appearances.
We are also very lucky to not live pay cheque to pay cheque however that is very rare on our community. And I’ve seen first hand how devastating it can be for a family.

We’ve had a rough 5 years financially and now world events are driving the cost of living even higher it’s going to put us in an even tighter position.
We were just starting to feel like things were getting better, but we’re due to remortgage and with interest rate change our payments are going up by £350 a month. The ofgem price cap is going from energy bills so had a letter yesterday saying our bill will go up by £80.
Life is hard for so many people and many people with changes like that to bills would have to make lifestyle changes or may simply just not be able to afford it.

It depends on your job, your living expenses, the amount of family members you have, where you live, etc.
I’m in South Florida and most of us don’t have paychecks that cover all the bills and necessities. It’s awful and I don’t know many people who aren’t struggling, the few I know are wealthy.

We’re fine and have money to get shopping and pay bills ect and then have a little bit left over, but if an emergency comes up we’re fucked tbh

Hi there ✨ im looking for a good friend to relate to, someone to talk to everyday if possible throughout the day about whatever; emotional support, plans, jokes, advice, memes it doesn’t matter.
Non judgmental and just some company. Getting together can be hard, even for me. Just having some company even through texts can make a big difference for myself, especially with mental health.
Something genuine and fun in a friendship.
Im very open minded, 4/20 friendly, raver, I like pretty much anything honestly. I have a little girl just born July 23rd, she’ll be 2 months old this month. Im home all the time right now snd post partum can be a l3itch and a half too.
If you have an iPhone we can play games back and forth too, it’s funny sometimes 💖
Taking applications now 😭🤧 lol

Is anyone else getting little to no help by friends/family.
When I was pregnant I found out I would be a single mummy. I was promised by my family especially my mum I would get lots of support and help. Since the baby being about 2 weeks old it all stopped I’m lucky if I get 5 mins a week of help. Anyone else experiencing this. I’m struggling bad. Baby is now 11 weeks old.
Any advice x

Hi all, I'm looking for full time or part time remote work. My most recent work is as a Business Intelligence Analyst with skills in Python, SQL, Tableau, Excell, some Machine Learning and general dashboard building. I've used several different crm/dashboard tools and I am very adaptable to new tools and technology. I've also previously done QA roles for all kinds of tech devices and some IT type work.
Outside of tech I worked in childcare for almost 10 years as a Nanny, in daycare, and in a montessori preschool so I have a wide range of skills.

How much time do you actually spend together? It gets so busy with work, kids, housework etc. Do you spend quality time with your partners everyday?
