So I’m starting to push myself at the gym. But I’m not even sure what is a good weight for leg press?

I was doing 100lbs for the longest because I was scared to get hurt after a c section. I finally got up to 270 lbs for leg press but I just want to see what every one else is doing and also what level you’re at (beginner, intermediate, etc).
Thanks!

As long as you are doing the exercises correctly and targeting the muscle not hurting your back , keep on going . I was in the gym for 4 years before i got pregnant with baby #2 and i just got back into the gym 3 months pp from c section and im playing it safe by starting from rock bottom and building up from there but again whatever makes u feel comfortable u should be fine if u can handle the weight.

It takes so long to feel comfortable enough to push yourself after baby! My pelvic floor muscles don't appreciate that angle so I can't really do anything above 500lbs anymore without intentionally holding breath up high to avoid wetting my pants.... That's great though! Glad you are feeling comfortable and feel like you're healing well.

thank you! i was very active before I got pregnant but more like CrossFit active. This time around I want to get into lifting. My LO is 11 months so I know I’ve given my body enough time to heal. I feel like I took it slow for too long 😂 I want to challenge myself. But you are totally right. Form is most important

Wow you're doing amazing I'm not at 270 yet but gaining progress each time. It shouldn't be so easy that you can fly through them. It dhoukd be a bit of a challenge but not over doing it. With the leg press I'd play around with it and add slowly and see if you feel a bit of a challenge. When I'm pressing and it doesn't feel hard at all I add usually 20lbs to it. I'm up to 220 but for me that's alot. Adding more each time as you feel stronger

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?

Thanks
