My 18 month old chose my husband when I tried to take her from baby sitter. I love my baby but she’s in her toddler phase where she breaks stuff and puts everything in her mouth. So I had to scream on her to put it down. I try hard not to but sometimes it just happens. I love my daughter so much and I feel like I’m failing in parenting. Looking at my daughter choosing her dad or baby sitter over me breaks my heart. Any suggestions or advice?

I'm in my 3rd pregnancy and from my own experience, babies are like the moon. They have phases 🤣
There are days my toddler can't see my phase, he doesn't even greet me when he arrives from nursery. There are days he's all about me... "Mummy, mummy, mummy, non stop".
Try not to feel guilty. Sometimes it's their way of saying "I missed you, where were you? Will you leave again? I better ignore you then". My older daughter used to do that because I used to travel a lot on my old job.
If you feel you want her attention, try doing something like start drawing or playing with toys. She'll be curious and naturally gravitate towards you. At least, it works with my toddler.
Thank you so much. Yes lately I haven’t been spending time with her. Working and getting everything done is making me exhausted. But I will try your advice and see if it works out.
Thanks again Momma.
Also congratulations on your 3rd pregnancy.
