Omg yes but, my lactation specialist told me to pump so he could have a bottle a night. It helps bc my husband gives it to him. Reach out again. You have to be well in order to take care of your baby.

Yes! My baby was eating allll the time and he’s 1 month, I was like is this ever going to stop. Due to me getting frustrated and never getting rest, I decided to start supplementing formula at dinner and throughout the night. Plus it’s nice to also have a drink. And the formula keeps him asleep for 4 hours at a time! I’ll breastfeed him the next morning because I’m engorged and then he goes back to sleep for about 2-3 hours. And then we’re back to feeding on the boob every 1 1/2 - 2 hours lol. Ppl were like you’re not making enough! I’m producing 3 1 /2 to 4 Oz at every feed! I feel like it’s because breast milk is thinner so it’s not really getting him ‘full’.

Ive jad my baby stuck to the boob for 3hrs now. Im exhausted

At babys one week appt the lactation consultant saw the damage to my nipples and told me to pump at least at some of the feedings to give then a break. We are supplementing ith formula from time to time to help me catch a break.
